MEET Megan Alarid
Founder & Strategic Business Guide
Megan Alarid is a 7-figure entrepreneur and the founder of Heightened Leaders, For more than 20 years, Megan has worked in and alongside businesses at nearly every stage, giving her firsthand experience with the opportunities and challenges that come with building, leading, and evolving an organization.
Throughout her career, she has personally led international teams and helped grow multiple businesses from startup to $15 million in revenue in just three years. Her professional background includes experience within global organizations such as Morgan Stanley, Shell, Chevron, and Deutsche Bank. She has since brought that experience into her work with business owners, personally coaching more than 75 businesses.
Megan’s approach is shaped not only by her own experience, but also by years of coaching, training, and learning from some of the most respected minds in business and leadership, including Verne Harnish, Patrick Lencioni, and Gino Wickman. She is a Certified Scaling Up Coach, Certified Working Genius Facilitator, Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), and Value Builder Advisor, and previously served as a Professional EOS Implementer®.
Drawing from that combination of firsthand experience, proven methodologies, and years spent working directly with business owners, Megan created TRUE Organizational Health®, Heightened Leaders’ approach to strengthening the people, systems, strategy, and execution behind a successful business. Today, she serves as a strategic thought partner, helping owners identify the right priorities, work through challenges, strengthen their teams, and stay focused on where they want their business to go.

MEET Caylee Pennington
Director of Programs
Caylee Pennington serves as Director of Programs at Heightened Leaders, working closely alongside Megan to bring ideas, methodologies, and new concepts to life through the programs and experiences Heightened Leaders delivers to its clients.
Caylee’s role has evolved alongside Heightened Leaders. She joined the team as Client Service Coordinator, where she developed a strong understanding of the client experience and the work happening inside each engagement. She later stepped into the role of Practice Manager, taking on greater responsibility for client coordination and internal operations before moving into her current role as Director of Programs.
Over the past three years, Caylee has developed a deep understanding of the concepts, frameworks, and methodologies behind Megan’s work. As new ideas take shape, Caylee helps translate them into practical programs, tools, and resources clients can put to work inside their organizations. She also serves as a consistent resource between sessions, available to help clients connect what happens in the room with what comes next and ensuring they have the support needed to continue moving forward.
Caylee holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Hospitality from Stephen F. Austin State University. Her background in client service, operations, and program development gives her a unique perspective on both how the work is delivered and how clients experience it.
Caylee helps clients bridge strategy and execution—connecting them with the tools and support they need to carry the work forward inside their businesses.
MEET Mandi Gerner
Director of Operations
Mandi Gerner serves as Director of Operations at Heightened Leaders, bringing more than 20 years of experience in operations, business development, and relationship building.
Her diverse background spans multifamily property management, escrow, business development, and real estate operations. Throughout her career, Mandi has developed a strong ability to build trusted relationships, manage competing priorities, and create the structure and processes that keep people and businesses moving forward.
At Heightened Leaders, Mandi oversees day-to-day operations while also playing an important role in business development and community engagement. A natural connector, she builds relationships and partnerships throughout the community and enjoys connecting business owners and leaders with people, resources, and opportunities that can help move their businesses forward. Whether the right connection is within Heightened Leaders or somewhere in her broader network, Mandi is passionate about helping people find the support they need to succeed.
Her combination of operational experience and relationship-building expertise helps Heightened Leaders continue to grow while maintaining the thoughtful, organized, and high-quality experience we want every client and community partner to have.
